There comes a point where patching a roof is just throwing money at a roof that is done. If your shingles are curling, the granules are gone, the deck feels soft underfoot, or you have had three leaks in two years, a full replacement is the cheaper choice over time. We replace roofs across the Denver metro the right way: a complete tear-off down to the decking, an inspection of what we find, and a new system built for the Front Range.

We do not lay new shingles over old ones. A layover hides rotten decking, voids most manufacturer warranties, and adds dead weight your structure was never sized for. We strip everything off, inspect every sheet of decking, and replace any board that is delaminated, soft, or cracked before a single new shingle goes down.

A proper Colorado roof is a system, not just shingles. We install a synthetic underlayment instead of old felt, ice-and-water shield in the valleys and along the eaves where ice dams form, new drip edge, new pipe boots and flashing, and a balanced ridge-and-soffit ventilation setup so your attic does not cook the shingles from below. We re-flash chimneys and skylights rather than caulking over the old metal.

On materials, we walk you through the real options. Standard architectural asphalt shingles are the workhorse and look great on most Denver homes. But this is hail country, so we strongly recommend Class 4 impact-resistant shingles. They hold up far better to hail, and most Colorado insurers give you a premium discount for installing them, which helps pay for the upgrade. For homeowners who want a 40-to-70-year roof, we also install standing-seam metal, which sheds snow and shrugs off hail.

The work itself usually takes one to three days for a typical home. We protect your landscaping, run magnetic rollers across the lawn and driveway to catch every nail, and haul off all the debris. You get a dedicated point of contact, daily cleanup, and a final walkthrough where we show you the finished work and the ventilation we installed.

Every replacement is covered by a manufacturer material warranty and our own lifetime workmanship warranty. We are GAF certified, licensed, and insured in Colorado, and we pull the proper permits so your roof passes the city inspection. If a recent storm damaged your roof, much of this may be covered by your insurance, and we handle that claim with you from the first inspection to the final supplement. Call us for a free, no-pressure roof evaluation and a written estimate you can actually understand.

Frequently asked questions

Should I just install shingles over my old roof?

No. A layover hides rotten decking, voids most manufacturer warranties, and adds weight. We always do a full tear-off and inspect the decking before installing the new system.

How long does a roof replacement take?

Most Denver homes are completed in one to three days, depending on the size, pitch, and the number of layers we tear off. We protect your property and clean up nails daily.

Are impact-resistant shingles worth it in Colorado?

Yes. The Front Range is hail country, and Class 4 shingles resist hail far better. Most Colorado insurers also give a premium discount that helps offset the upgrade cost.
